...and still sick!

Why oh why am I still in the stage of blah? I've completely dehidrated myself and my stomach is STILL flipping and I'm STILL experiencing the joys of the sport called "tag team toilet".

...and...

All I've had to eat since Monday morning is a bowl of cereal, a few crackers, and last night I had a few bites of chicken with some veggies....AND THAT KILLED ME!!!!!!!!! Well...ok, I did technically "eat" more, but this is the only stuff that actually stayed down.

The last time this puke/toilet fest happened to me, I ended up in the hospital for 4 days, they removed my gall bladder and said I had an infection of my pancreas. (pancreatitis to be exact). The doctor said that once I have pancreatitis, I'm usally suseptible to getting it again. OH GREAT.

My sister-in-law Laura's mom has a cronic pancreatitis (meaning she gets it like once every other month or so) and is constantly having this sort of thing happen to her along with excrutiating abdomom pains. (sorry...I know I can't spell)

...well, what did I wake up with last night? EXCRUTIATING PAINS IN MY ABDOMOM...although, I think it was just gas. BUT...nevertheless...I'm a little freaked out. I don't want pancreatitis again.

SO.........

Please oh please oh please pray for this to go far far away.

Christmas Part 3 and a "barf" filled day...

Well, we ended the Christmas season at my Dads house with his side of the family. We again did our "As Seen On TV" gift exchange and fun was had by all.

Seeing the little kids open their gifts and be filled with joy is always so exciting. I sometimes wish I was that little kid again...but then I remember the "awkward" years and I'm snapped back to reality.

Speaking of awkward...How many of YOU spent the day after Christmas hugging the toilet? No one??? Oh, well let me tell you...I DID along with about 7 other family members!!!!!!!!!!!! It was horrible, I woke up early Monday with diarhea and then came the vomiting...this ALL (yep, both) lasted until 3am Tuesday (today) morning........YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its 1pm on Tuesday right now, and I decided to come into work for a little while. I'm basically just sitting here to prove that although I'm new, I'm not gonna let a little puke and poo get me down. NO SIR!! I'm a good employee.

(please oh please send me home...I feel like I've been beatin' to a pulp.)

Christmas Part 2 and Fun "Santa Letter" MadLibs game...

Well, our second round of Christmas happened last night for my moms side of the family. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and again...fun was had by all. Grandma made some yummy stew and corn bread, mom had one too many glasses of wine (she was laughing about it too...) and my neice and nephew had us all laughing.

We were blessed again by our family, good memories, and yep...more presents. Mom and Chris (Step Dad) blessed us especially with some much needed cash. We've been needing to take our dog Indi back to the vet to have her cast/splint redone because she's slowly but surely chewing it off. (oh...and this time, she gets a "satelite dish" around her head.) So...yah, she went to the vet this morning. JOY!

Tomorrow we head to my dads house for Christmas Part 3.

Ok and now, SANTA LETTER MAD LIBS...I've been having fun with this all day:

...and its not naughty, although from the heading of it, you may think so...but its not...so don't worry.

Blue Light Confessions...

I find myself needing to tell my blog fans about the funniest job I ever had: "The K-Mart Blue Light Special and Closing Alert Announcer".

Yep, when I turned 16, my very first job was at K-Mart at 51st near Harvard avenue in Tulsa Oklahoma. My main job was to go back and forth between lay-away and front line cashier. BUT...when the time called for it...I WAS THE ANNOUNCER FOR BLUE LIGHT SPECIALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND....EVERY SINGLE NIGHT (that I was there) I DID THE CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And...I remember EVERY WORD:

Blue Light Special:

Attention K-Mart shoppers we are now having a "blue light special" in lingerie. This special will be running for a mere 15 minutes, please hurry while this amazing sale lasts. Again, we are having a "blue light special" in womens lingerie. ...And as always, thank you for shopping your "51st street K-mart".

Closing Call:

Attention K-Mart shoppers, the time now is 9:45 and your "51st street K-mart" will be closing in just 15 minutes. We ask that you please bring your final selections to the front of the store and we will check you out as quickly and efficiantly as possible. ...And as always, thank you for shopping your "51st street K-Mart".

(and we would re-do this every 5 minutes until...)

Attention K-Mart shoppers, the time now is 10:00 and you "51st street K-Mart" is now closed. We ask that you now bring your final selections to the front check out area and we will check you out as quickly and efficiantly as possible. Again, the time now is 10:00 and we are now closed. Thank you.

John Lennons' "Imagine" - remix...

I re-wrote this little ditty...I hope you enjoy it:

Imagine there's no Santa
No Mrs. Claus too
No gifts to by for loved ones
Or folks you hardly knew...

Imagine all the money
you'd keep all to you...whoa oh ooooohhhh...

You may say I'm a dreamer...
but I'm not the only one...
I hope some day you'll join me...
And Walmart stores will fold and run.

Imagine there's no reindeer
Just see if you can try...
No crazy meal to stress on...
Turkeys to roast or fry.

Imagine all the fat grams
you'd keep FROM your thighs....whoa oh oooooohhhh...

You may say I'm a dreamer...
but I'm not the only one...
I hope some day you'll join me...
And we'll all have skinny buns.

All aboard the Migrain Train!

Since I can remember (even as a small child), I've always had small "nothing to get worked up about" headaches. I would pop a couple of ibuprofrins or tylenols and it would be gone. Well, since about my college years, I've noticed that about once every 6 months or so, I'll get these DOOZY head aches. Nausia, light sensitivity, motion sensitivity...the whole thing. I'll usually just down about 4 advil and go to sleep for a couple of hours and finally after much prayer and eye squinting it goes away. Well..NOW...in the last probably 4 months, I've had 2 or 3 of these "bad ones" as well as a constant nagging dull one to boot (see previous blog). They're getting worse as I get older. Last night was a REALLY bad one. It started coming on when I was on my way home from church and then...WHAMO!!!! THE MOTHER LOAD!!!! I was in SO SO SO much pain. I finally had to get up, take an "excedrine migrain" (yep...little old tylenol or advil doesn't seem to work as well anymore ) I had to wake my husband up and ask him to pray over me. Praise God! I finally went to sleep and woke up with no headache this morning.

...So...am I having full blown migrains? Or do I really just need to see a chiropractor? Or is this all in my head? (badump bump! ching!)

I'm scared of the chiropractor...

I think that I'm going to have to suck it up though. My upper back, neck and shoulders have been KILLING ME lately, and I've had a headache for about a week straight now. This stinks! I think I need to go get cracked a little bit. ( or maybe just smoke some crack?...that might work too. HA! )

Anyway, I've never been, and I'm a little scared.

Things that make you say "blah"...

I'm in one of those "yuck yuck I want to go home" sort of moods today. Allow me to elaborate:

-I forgot that I was going to a benefit dinner this evening, and my outfit is WAY too casual.
-I forgot my breakfast at home, now I'm really hungry.
-I ripped a hole in my leather jacket this morning.
-The stew I had last night gave me indigestion.
-I just discovered ANOTHER hole in my leather jacket. grrrrr...
-I just want to be in bed.

BLAH!!!!!!!
