Question of the day:
When I was little, my favorite cartoon was...
I'm married to my highschool sweet heart, we are called to the ministry, we have a heart for the nations (aka: we're gonna be missionaries), I've been a banker for 6 years (seriously? Why am I still a banker?), I have a degree in vocal music performance (yet, I'm a banker?), my check book is balanced to the penny...but I can't organize my bedroom.
7 Comments:
Probably "The Smurfs". This was not banned in my house, and I still want to be smurfette for halloween sometime. And when I was a little older (Junior High) I would always watch reruns of the "Muppet Babies" in the morning when I was getting ready.
Muppet Babies as a child
X-Men as a teenager
I second the Great american hero vote. although I do remember watching he-man and transformers and thundercats alot. Its amazing the amount of american cartoons you can get overseas.
Scooby Doo - but only at Grandma's house - it was banned in our house. Also loved Saturday Morning Looney Tunes.
Duck Tails [whoo--ooo!] and Tale Spin
"Alvin and the Chipmunks"
My grandmother even got me a stage and action figures for Christmas one year - It ROCKED!
I LOVED Jem (and the Holograms)... and in all honesty...I wanted to BE Jem/Jerica. It is where all my dreams of becoming a rock star began. Seems I've settled (finally!), though, on photography.
"whoa Jem...truly, truly, truly outrageous! JEM!"
Okay, you have NO idea who I am, but I just had to throw in my two cents. I found your site through The Reign Of Ellen and am really enjoying it. I have found that I am addicted to blogs now. I was always that girl who wanted to read EVERYONE's diaries...but never did, because I was also the girl who never wanted to get in trouble. : )
Anyway, also wanted to tell you that I am on the diet train with you. I don't want to be a "Fat Mom" either. We don't have kids yet...but will start trying within the next year or so. MUST be in shape before then!! : )
Thanks for a fun blog! I'll keep reading...
